Creating a project is possible by either sharing the inquiry form with the client or manually creating the project from the freelancer dashboard.

You can start your project at any stage you wish! ❤️

Starting project ...

  1. From the inquiry stage

  2. From the kickoff meeting stage

  3. From the contract stage

  4. From the project launch stage

Short cut →

Let's take a few scenarios -

  1. Your client shared inquiry via a direct message or through another medium

    • In this scenario, you can either ask the client to fill the inquiry form by sharing the link, but if you wish to create a project from your side, then -

      • Click Project from the left menu → click Create Project button

      • Select Inquiry from the dropdown of project status

  2. You met your client physically for the project

    • You can directly start your project from the kickoff meeting stage in this scenario!

      • Click Project from the left menu → click Create Project button

      • Select Kickoff Meeting from the dropdown of project status

  3. You already had a client but wished to make a contract

    • In this scenario, you can directly start from the contract stage. Please note that this way, the contract page won't be able to fetch the deliverables automatically, and hence, you will need to enter them here.

      • Click Project from the left menu → click Create Project button

      • Select Contract from the dropdown of project status

  4. You want to manage your existing project on Yess

    • In this scenario, you can directly start the project from the project launch stage. You will need to enter deliverables under the project management dashboard.

      • Click Project from the left menu → click Create Project button

      • Select Project Launch from the dropdown of project status
