Agency might need to decline the contract in the following scenarios - 

- Sent the wrong contract by mistake
- Freelancer or client changed the terms 
- Requested revision is not acceptable 
- ... or any such 

You can decline the client contract by following the below steps - 

- Click on <code> Client contract </code> tab 
   
  
   
- Click on 3-dots beside the version of contract (top right of contract)
   
  
   
- State the reason and click <code> Decline </code>

You can only decline the freelancer contract if you have sent the contract. If you have not sent the contract try <a href="https://help.yess.io/en/articles/6326051-how-to-delete-the-proposal-agency">deleting the contract</a> instead.

- Go to <code> Freelancer Contract </code> tab 
   
  
   
- Check if you have sent the contract then click on 3-dots beside the version of the contract (top right corner on contract)
   
  
   
- State the reason and click <code> Decline </code> 
   
  
   

1. <b>Client Contract</b>
   You can decline the client contract by following the below steps - 
   - Click on <code> Client contract </code> tab 
      
     
      
   - Click on 3-dots beside the version of contract (top right of contract)
      
     
      
   - State the reason and click <code> Decline </code>

2. <b>Freelancer Contract</b>
   You can only decline the freelancer contract if you have sent the contract. If you have not sent the contract try <a href="https://help.yess.io/en/articles/6326051-how-to-delete-the-proposal-agency">deleting the contract</a> instead.
    
   - Go to <code> Freelancer Contract </code> tab 
      
     
      
   - Check if you have sent the contract then click on 3-dots beside the version of the contract (top right corner on contract)
      
     
      
   - State the reason and click <code> Decline </code> 
      
     
      

The project contract between client and agency or freelancer and agency is declined successfully! 🎉
